What We Do

Since its incorporation in 1991, JWA has advised and acted for some of the Czech and Slovak Republic’s biggest foreign investors and over the years it has adapted the service and skills that the agency has to offer in line with the requirements of what was, originally, a developing market, and is now a key region for investment.

 

In the early 90s, JWA offered clients a full range of marketing services, partly because PR itself was treated with some suspicion, and partly because the demand for copywriting, design and other marketing skills was enormous. Over time, however, more and more companies were coming to the agency for high level public relations advice, particularly in the mid-to-late 90s when foreign companies, in particular, were running up against a number of issues with regard to their positioning on what, then, was still a difficult market.

 

The Czech and Slovak Republics today, however, are a very different prospect to the early 90s, and whilst the agency is still able and willing to provide a range of marketing skills, JWA focuses on, and is in demand for, high level public relations, with particular emphasis on corporate, real estate, financial and environmental PR.

 

JWA is equally comfortable working with some of the region’s largest companies, who may have their own in-house team and are coming to the agency for specific skills and the ability to use a large budget, as it is working with smaller companies with less to spend. Similarly, whether a company is looking for a full marketing campaign, a PR strategy, or just a couple of hours’ worth of advice, JWA is ready to offer the required services.
