IBF Christmas Party - 4th December, 2008
JWA organized the International Business Forum's first annual Christmas Spectacular, which was held in the beautiful Mandarin Oriental Prague and attracted 150 members of the association and their guests. The event included welcome drinks and canapes, a full four-course gala dinner, a charity auction and raffle and dancing through the night. Given a few unexpected changes in the organization, the wonderful party was thrown together in a very short amount of time, but ask anyone who attended and they'll tell you it was a huge success.
Cushman& Wakefield 15th Anniversary Party - 4th September, 2008
One of our longest standing clients, Cushman & Wakefield, celebrated its fifteenth anniversary in the Czech Republic with a 'red and blue' party in Hergetova Cihelna on 4th September. Over the years, JWA has organized several events for C&W, as well as working on a number of other projects and one of our favourites was the 10th Anniversary, which took place on the same date in the same venue 5 years ago! From our perspective, this event was even better, and you could see the sort of esteem that C&W is held in by the people that turned out for the evening.
3i Annual Investor's Conference - 25th-26th June, 2008
Nearly two eyars ago, JWA was asked by the British investment firm, 3i, to organise its annual 'investors industry conference' that, for 2008, was being held in Prague. This included two days of conferences in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and a number of gala dinners - one of which will go down in history as a real triumph for JWA's organizational abilities - it is not easy holding a gala dinner in a garden, when the worst storm in memory has hit you just two hours before!
Freeport Champagne Tasting - 6th May, 2008
After more than a year of operations in the Czech Republic, Freeport, the owner of the Freeport Outlet Shopping Mall near Brno, decided to hold an event in Prague to celebrate its first year's figures and to say 'thank you' to existing and future tenants for their loyalty. What better way to hold a celebration than to have an evening of champagne tasting, which JWA organized in the courtyard of the Hotel Leonardo in Prague.
